Air Conditioner Cost Calculator
Find out exactly how much your air conditioner costs to run. This calculator uses your AC's BTU rating and SEER efficiency to calculate energy consumption and costs for any usage pattern.
How to Use
Formula
wattage = BTU ÷ SEER
daily_kwh = wattage × hours_per_day ÷ 1000
daily_cost = daily_kwh × price_per_kwh
monthly_cost = daily_cost × days_per_month
yearly_cost = monthly_cost × 12
Example: 12,000 BTU Window AC
